The climate of this place is semi arid and continental kinds with quarterly distributed seasons. Denver’s weather sometimes goes unpredictable due to its geographical set up. It is surrounded by Rocky Mountains to its west. The temperature range for this wonderful place ranges between 10 degrees to 18 degrees. The average rainfall received per year by the Denver land is around 16 inches. The sunshine average goes to about 300 days per year i.e. 3100 hours of sunshine. The snow falls in winters but is not retained on the ground for a long times thus creating options for open ground recreations like golf, football grounds, open cafes remain open for public (the visitors) almost throughout the year. This in all serves as a fun filled, sun filled, goodie – goodie cool experience of warm and mild weather in the midst of mountains around. Offering a milder climate, this city of Denver has been righteously known as the “mild and mile high city”!
